Normally, our guys come out of the box slow and fall behind a couple of scores because the starters always think they will coast to a win. They get scared in the second half and they close the ga and win a squeaker in the final minutes.
This year we are minus Jones and Kelce. Our defense will likely give up 35 points to Goff and maybe force one or two punts. We will not generate the pass rush without interior pressure. Spags will compensate by blitzing but that will open up the short routes. It will take Lions mistakes to get them off the field.
On offense, without Kelce, we will be lackluster, but I am hoping that we score big in the second half with our grab bag of receivers somehow because we have Pat. Still, I am bracing for a 35-30 defeat at home, which will cause the national media to proclaim prematurely the end of the dynasty and Nick Wright will have to forget about the 20-0 season. I hope I am wrong and our receivers have a field day.
