I’m with you on all points. I want Toney and kelce to play just because we have so many fresh faces and we can ease them in. But **** it… let’s throw them into the fire and ask them to step up instead of expecting kelce to open them up
I’ll add a few more…
- Reid knows how to put these guys in a position to win. Like when we shelved kelce and tyreek during covid. Hard to do multiple weeks but week 1s a spot where gameplanning can catch off guard
- we aren’t desperate. If we lose some early this team is good enough to recover later in the season. Hell, even with jones and kelce I expect this year to be somewhat of a rebuild anyway and I’m actually sorta ok settling for less if it means developing the living hell out of our young players
