If we compare him to Richie James with the NYG to the Toney NYG we see the following:
James 70 targets, 569 yards, 4 TDs, 33.5 yards a game
Toney 60 targets, 420 yards, 0 TDs, 35 yards a game. Even with the Chiefs...7 games, 171 yards
James seems to be a better player at this point because he's more reliable and his advanced stats on getting 3rd downs are much better.
Skyy has been in the offense longer and has shown he can get good separation.
Rice is running back type YAC skills, younger and seemed productive in the preseason.
MVS is a deep threat and maybe not a well rounded WR but we know what he is and he's shown he can make big plays in big games.
Justyn Ross pops off the screen. Plus he's taller and a legitimate goalline threat.
There is an argument that Toney will be WR6 ahead of Justin Watson by the time the season is all said and done.
