Personally though, I don't frequent beauty salons, I don't even wear/buy cologne, unless it's a fancy event, like a wedding/funeral. Probably why I haven't seen any of that stuff.

Funny thing is I am the same way you are when it comes to that. They weren’t exactly beauty salons based on what I consider to be a beauty salon. They were just small stores that sell beauty products. I was stationed in Korea for a year about 5 or so years ago and couldn’t bring my family. Since I have a wife and two daughters, I would go into those stores and buy them all sorts of things and mail it back home. They loved it. I just remember unique things like goat milk cream, snail emulsion cream, cream with specks of real gold in it, black tea face wash etc….. I used to get my daughters who were much younger back then jars of hand cream shaped like animals and stuff. I think they still have the used jars.
I will say that those K-Pop guys seem to be all into that stuff as well as any of those Korean male models you saw in all the advertisements. Very light skinned and very make upped.
