Toney is always one insane looking cut away from a strain or tear on something in his legs. His cuts are absolutely vicious, and explosive, but the body just isn't meant to flex like that.

At this point I don’t know that he’ll ever be reliable enough that we can shelve him to get him healthier. Seems like even if we wait he’ll be at high risk of injury still. While we need him later in the season for critical games, we may need him most early in the season because of our inexperience. You would hope that a few weeks in we have a better idea of who can take the mantle as our WR1. But for now it feels like we’d be elevating roles for guys who aren’t just ready yet.
