Arizona State barely adds the Phoenix market since Arizona is the flagship school in the state. Also Phoenix has a transient population and is not a college sports city.

Yormark has already said he's looking at breaking out the basketball contract. I'm guessing he'll target Uconn and Gonzaga for hoops, but as far as football value, I don't think Uconn brings much.
Plus, taking ASU was probably a negotiation point with Arizona and possibly Utah/CU.
