Depends on the structure.
If he and his agent will clear getting to a 30M AAV on a deal that is really 4/104-112 from 2023-26, but has a balloon at the end that makes it 5/150, I think the Chiefs can and will do that. And it likely all works out.
Even the Quinnen Williams deal does that (new year 4 is 30.4M cap hit, other 3 new years average about 23M), and that's pretty standard for contracts and accepted. Unless you're Orlando Brown, Jr. and his agent (then it's shocking and brand new information).
$30M signing bonus:
23: 21M cap hit
24: 28M cap hit
25: 28M cap hit
26: 32M cap hit
27: 41M cap hit
This gets you to roughly a deal that is, on paper 5/$146.5M. Which is close enough for argument's sake.
Years 1-4 are 4/109, or 27.25M/year in money. You can play with the guarantees to make Year 4 a tough cut if he wants more protection, or add a little more onto the 23 cap hit (which currently is set to save them exactly what he wants saved).
If he's willing to play ball on Year 5, you could maybe have the actual contract be more like 4/104M in real money. Maybe add a guaranteed salary to year 5 as well that makes the obvious cut point more painful in terms of dead cap (another $5M guaranteed would make that $10M but put the money in his pocket, shift some of the 23-26 money later, and also give him a better negotiation point to negotiate and stick around at that point if that's what he wants).
There are a lot of options here.
