I trust Veach, but not gonna lie, at 30M AAV, The value of the cap space plus the picks next year with a tag and trade seem more desirable to me. The only way I see it happening is if the last year is essentially a dummy year that we have no intention of having him on the team, and eating some dead cap.... (Like with what Tyreek did with Miami). I think I'd rather get a return out of him myself then cut him off a dummy year.
Maybe something like: 22M/25M/30M/43M
That being said, I don't think he'd want something like Tyreek did with Miami.
