OK, I finished Godfather Part II. That was a good one as well.

One thing I wasn’t sure about if someone could help..

What was the deal with Frankie Pantangeli flipping in the courtroom after seeing his brother?

Originally I thought the look they shared showed Pantangeli’s brother was afraid. That led me to believe that perhaps the Corleone family threatened him and Frankie could see that, meaning he flipped to spare his brother. But then he meets with Tom Hagen later in the movie and talks about how his brother is 10x tougher than he is so that idea doesn’t make much sense.

The Godfather wiki says it’s all but confirmed in some other media (video games, cut scenes, etc.) that the look the brother gave him was a threatening look, reminding Frankie of the code in not working with the feds. Basically, if you snitch, your kids will be killed. That wasn’t made clear in the movie, though it makes sense.
