I watched the new Evil Dead Rises. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

If you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll likely enjoy it too. It was full of the typical shock gore and practical effects you’d come to expect from one of these movies.

The little boy did piss me off when he played the vinyl records. Maybe it’s just me, but if I come across a book bound in human flesh, buried in a bank vault under rubble, locked in a stone coffin, with hundreds of rosaries and crosses hanging above it, I’m not reading from the ****ing book lol

I will say, though, I re-watched the Evil Dead remake from 2013 recently to prepare for this one and this little boy has NOTHING on the hippy douche with long hair from that one. That guy went entirely too far to read from the book.
