We're going to have to get used to not always having proven production at certain position groups, and it's probably going to move around from year to year. It's the best way to build your roster. There are risks, but you have to trust your scouting and coaching.
You can get plenty of snaps with a bandaid WR. Skyy moore didn't need more snaps last year. He wasn't ready. And more than likely rashee won't be either. Skyy wouod get lots of snaps in th slot and given toneys injury history he will get plenty of shots at an elevated role too. That seems like a wonderful role where he will have lote or opportunity to prove if he is worth centering the offense around.

Sure we won't have proven production at certain position groups. It doesn't move around from year to year. OT and WR have been persistent issues for several years. And we walk into this season with even bigger question marks. If we have to start Donovan smith because we didn't address the RT issue long ago, that is not ideal no matter how much people want to massage it.I get that now we are actually trying but I'm tired of the idea that mahomes has to just deal with it because he's blessed with greatness. At some point we have to finally address these areas for him instead of asking him to deal with the constant OL issues and the frustration he shows when his WRs keep missing their spots.

If these guys aren't fully ready we don't need to subject mahomes to that if we don't have to.
