Looks like the Cards have about $20M in cap space ATM, if they trade Hopkins that will go up to about $29M.
If possible...have them convert $19M of his $19.45M before the trade. Guessing this would mean that his 2023 base(what KC actually pays and gets hit for cap wise) would be $450k. and the Cards cap would go down to only being $9M, which is still plenty for signing rookies and what ever else.
If this could happen I could see #31 being on the table. I'm just not sure if that much money can actually be eaten up like this or if the NFL would say no no no.
