So sitting still is not the best plan and that's why I think Veach/Reid aren't done yet.

Hadn't really thought about it until you just brought it up, but yeah, opposing defenses are going to play more man/press man in 2023 just looking at the WRs we have on the roster right now. Who wouldn't? Only man-beater we have is Toney. And as talented as he is, it's still worse than a coinflip whether he can play more than half of the games. If he gets gimpy, we're talking Skyy, Justin Watson (if he returns), and one of the Ross boys. Justyn I guess. If Skyy gets dinged up, then i have no idea, but that's also why there's no way Veach stands pat on the WR room, or thinks "we can just draft a couple WRs and we'll be fine." Nah, no way.
But Veach/Andy don't stand still. They're always hunting around for talent. I just think that this season they're going to be more serious about it. They aren't going to try another prove-it deal with the likes of Kelvin Benjamin, L. Bell, Josh Gordon, etc. The cupboard's too bare for that. Whoever they sign, it'll be a guy they know will produce pretty much from Day 1.
