It's actually not in a lot of coaches playbook. It's declined in usage a lot in the past decade. Just look at that stat I posted. QBs ran a goal line fade only 37 times that season. Out of 256 games. That's 1 fade every 7 games.
I don't know why people think teams run it a lot or that it's successful to any meaningful degree.
