If Payton was going to "fix" Russ, he had to find a way to communicate to him to stop with this fake ass posturing shit on social media. It's all ****ing garbage to feed Wilson's ego. Russ is addicted to smelling his own farts, and when he entered a team that didn't set boundaries, he took everything he possibly could. An absurd amount of long term cap space, his own posse on team time, real estate within the building, and all the encouragement for him to never be a real person to his teammates or coaches.

This is proof that the Donks don't know the demon they have. Russ is entirely saying, "Hey everybody look at me! I'm humble and driven! I do work every day just like you! I'm all about the DETAILS!!!! with a dash of Jesus thrown in there for good measure. Love me and my personality!"

Russ hasn't changed. The coaches have changed, and they may have taken away his office and his posse, but Russ is still the same standoffish dweebish weirdo who's rather off-putting to the people he has to work with in that building.

Denver might improve this year, but Russ will be their ultimate undoing this year and in future years to come.
