Yes, he is a better player than Hopkins imo. His route running is every bit as good as Hopkins, his hands are every bit as good as well. Except OBJ has a bit more juice.
If OBJ "lost a step", that'd make him at worst as fast as Hopkins. He still brings everything to the table that Hopkins does.
