Seeing this block in Week 2 was when I started becoming a believer that he'd take over for CEH. I think CEH's biggest struggle in this offense wasn't rushing or pass-catching, but being able to protect Patrick in Pass Pro. Pacheco wasn't perfect as a blocker, but seeing him being willing to take on Derwin so early in the year had to win him a lot of support in the film room.

CEH's biggest weakness was a lack of speed. The second Pacheco took over, this team started crushing defenses with outside zone plays. Pacheco had the speed to make it to the edge, and CEH didn't. Our entire run game transformed with that small difference in speed.

I really pulled for CEH the whole time, but man oh man is there a chasm between him and Pacheco.

I'm just going to pretend CEH was the seventh rounder and we got IP at pick 32.
