This is a hidden issue for restaurants and other low paying jobs in high end areas. How to find low cost workers when average rent is $2,500-$3,000 a month and gas is $3.50-$4.00 a gallon.
I never realized this problem until like 10 years ago when I lived outside DC in Ashburn, Loudoun County and a restaurant owner told me about this issue.
Loudoun County is the #1 highest per capita income in the US for the last 10-15 years
