Von's pressure was the most fazed I've seen Mahomes the entire season. He was constantly uncomfortable, even when Von wasn't generating any heat. They now have to hope that a (36?) year old can come back from an ACL tear as dominant as he was, because that contract (6/130) quickly becomes a major albatross if he doesn't.
Diggs removed all Buffalo related images from his instagram. We were able to reload after trading Tyreek. The Bills might be wise to follow suit, but it's much easier said than done to pull off what we did. Especially as their forum has brought up major red flags about their GM's drafting record (saw a comment that said they have been clowned by Veach in the draft two consecutive years -- I'd argue in 2017, too, but that's another topic). Coaching is also a major issue. The Bills offense didn't seem prepared at all for the Bengals defense OR for the weather and their style had been getting honed in on by multiple defenses to end the year. Coaching miscues by McDermott were also major factors in both of our wins against Buffalo in the playoffs.
At the end of the day I think that the Bills can win a SB with Allen, but only if he's healthy and hits one of his hot streaks at the right time. At this point in his career he's taken an insane amount of unnecessary brutality where even his GM made a plea for him to play smarter at the end of this season.
There is still enough talent on that team to win it all, but it's important to recognize that they put all of their chips on the table to win this year. Now that it's over, they have question marks in both their coaching and front office that we've never had in the Reid era (even if I was too much of an idiot to appreciate that until 2017).

Quality post all round, but I think you really hit on the magic formula right there.
The only consistent, tried and true, no doubt about it formula for a top flight defense is being able to pressure consistently with four.
If you can do that, you're legit. If you can't, well...
