What I take issue with is the idea that Mahomes should be criticized for not taking more money. It’s none of Florio’s damn business what Mahomes wants to do with his money or how much he wants to make.

If other QBs are getting screwed because Mahomes is leaving money on the table then maybe they should get better so they have the kind of leverage Pat currently has when it comes to dictating the market.

But Pat’s contract and his bag and how he chooses to allocate his money around the roster is no one’s business but his own.

And the truth is, his contract didn't hamper them one bit. His contract didn't put a cap on QB contracts thereafter as Florio implied it would.
