You are engaging in a fallacy of logic known as "hypothesis contrary to fact." You are hypothesizing what would have happened if what actually happened had not actually taken place. You are wrong in your supposition because you are imagining a set of circumstances that directly contradict reality. You are, therefore, demonstrably wrong because you're not dealing within the bounds of reality.
