I watched the second episode and it was pretty tense. I’ve only played the first hour or so of the game so I was shocked at how difficult the fungus zombies were to deal with. And that was only two of them. Then you’ve gotta deal with the hive mind as well.

What was up with the fresh body? They seemed concerned that whatever killed it was somehow more dangerous than run-of-the-mill zombies. Then they mentioned how they would have heard it.

I’m guessing the two they encountered were the dangerous ones? Are those the clickers?

Most likely the clickers, almost like Joel and Tess have run into them before because Joel was adamant about staying silent from then on.
