No. Maybe if you are untrained and not certain if someone has a pulse, or how to check for a pulse, but you don’t start CPR knowing someone has a pulse.
And again to clarify, for someone who isn’t sure, or doesn’t have training, starting compressions is the right move. Those with training would check for a pulse first.
