As to your comment about the defense, Harbaugh's 9ers were 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 5th in yards allowed, the 2022 Broncos are currently in 7th, with 2 of the teams ranked above them yet to play this week. Not sure it's a huge step down.
I'm not really sure why he'd pick the Broncos over any other team, but if he does I'd be glad to have him.

He inherited all that talent and then proceeded to drive the franchise into the ground in his 4th season. His drafts were terrible and he blamed it all on the GM bc he “didn’t have full control”.
He’s be an improvement but getting him won’t put you over us for the division
