They're not. Most Giants fans have written him off as the season has progressed. During last off-season there were rumblings that he wasn't making an effort with Daboll. Add to that he has missed a bunch of time. Their start has fans cautiously optimistic, but it made Toney expendable in the eyes of many fans. My buddy with Giants season tickets just texted me and said, "dude is electric when he plays, but he's always hurt. Hopefully Chiefs can get something out of him."
I'm sure if the Giants were 2-4 and needed him back it would be a different tune.
