Wilson has to play the PR angle...doesnt want to give off the initial impression of being all about the the $$$...which he is.
I'll be shocked if he goes into the 2022 season getting paid around 60% of his current market value. $24 million vs. $45-$50 million? They need to strike while he has the most value.
If he stinks it up, gets injured or starts to show decline this season...never going to get that $250 mil contract.
His agent has to know they have the Donks bent over a table....his back-up has thrown 42 NFL passes with 4 INTs.
We'll see but I cant imagine they dont announce a deal before week one...
