Yup. Which would be a classic Veach move.
What I find interesting about all of this is that Veach wanted to extend Tyreek. And thus he knows exactly what he can and can't do via the cap in paying a top WR. If the Chiefs pull off a McLaurin trade I'm sure he will play on his last year of his rookie deal and then Veach will either tag his ass, give him a new deal, or let him walk.
Washington is in full rebuild mode. I think this kid can be had for a fair deal.
