Are they later 1sts? Yes, but dammit they're firsts.

It really started with the desperate attempts to justify the god-awful Frank Clark trade and it never got any better. Suddenly any pick that wasn't in the top 20 was 'pretty much just a 2nd rounder anyway...'

And yes, it's quite stupd.
