I don't think his overall production (which did include over 100 yards on the ground on about a carry/game) is indicative of Watson as much as his team's offensive style.

He had 35 percent of the team's overall receiving yards (and no one else was close - 500 yard gap between him and the next guy). Compare that to Ohio State, where Chris Olave had 936 yards on an offense that threw for nearly 5k yards.

Olave only played in 11 games, but even if you prorate his total for the games in which he actually played, he's only accounting for 22 percent of the team's passing yards.

Olave had other NFL receivers around him, obviously, but still... the fact Watson far and away dominated NDSU's receiving share says a lot about play styles.
