He's a guy (like White) that I'd overpay over his 'present' market to lock him in for 3 years.

I think both of those guys can be signed to contracts that they vastly outperform over a couple of seasons. It's the sort of thing I'd have liked to have done with guys like Ogbah.

Get a little term in place when their at a semi-low point in their value. Now they obviously won't sign for multiple years at their 'make good deal' price point. But if you beat that by a little but less than you'd have to pay in an 'up' market for them, you'll be in real nice shape.

And all it would take for that market to form for either of those guys is for Barnett to turn 3-4 more of those pressures into sacks or for White to have one more year exactly like the one he just had.

These are DAMN good buy low candidates with some long-term upside we could bake in.
