I posted this in the Patrick Peterson thread which died a fast death.
Probably it is one of those nobody gives an F, but I like the guy, so I am posting it again over here.
CB
Fabian Moreau – 27 years old but will be 28 for the next season. 6-0, 204 pounds, 5 years at UCLA, 3rd round pick of Washington Redskins in 2017.
2017 NFL Combine stats – 6’ ½”, 206 pounds, 4.35. 40 yard, 38” vertical, 11’ 4” Broad jump
Fabian has missed 4 games in 5 years in the NFL so pretty healthy.
2021 ATL – 16 starts, 61 tackles, 44 solo, 11 PD.
At the East West Shrine Bowl he was smooth and able to mirror receivers. He was also invited to the Senior Bowl, but they are back to back and he declined the invitation. He tore his pec doing the bench press for his pro day and the injury affected his draft status some.
He’s a willing tackler with his coverage, but a fault would be his run support.
Last year he played for a $990,000 base plus a $137,500 bonus, so I think he could be inexpensive.
Interesting assessment of Moreau -
Falcons should bring Fabian Moreau back in 2022 - SportsTalkATL.com
He’s not perfect, but he has stayed healthy and he is able to cover and probably not too expensive.
Side Note - Atlanta Falcons just signed CB
Casey Hayward as the replacement for Moreau.
Even if we signed Moreau, we should probably draft a CB but I think he could improve what we have.
