Veach said at the Combine that the Chiefs were likely going to address defensive line more in the draft than in free agency, so not sure why people are saying Veach's plan is failing by not signing the big name free agent pass rushers:

“It’s a little bit tricky, we don’t have a ton of (cap) space,” he said. “But I kind of like where the depth of this draft is, and I think we’ll have some opportunities.”#Patience
