I get that having a top QB is almost required to win a SB these days, but so is surrounding him with high-performers on rookie contracts-SB QBs consume so much cap space. I'm a draft geek, so giving up (2) 1st and (2) 2nds would have me soiling my breeches. But I get, we are very familiar with suffering through years of QB mediocrity, and it feels great to have a SB winner in the huddle, but at 33 coming off a mediocre season (maybe it wall all thumb related) and giving up Top 10 pick + 3 other high picks would make me more than a little nervous. I have no doubt they will be a playoff-level team next year, but is that what you want out of this? Great deal if they were "Rams-level" roster, but I don't think that's the case.
