Okay, it's time to announce my 2021 53-man roster.
QB
Russell Wilson (Seahawks)
Easton Stick
Sam Ehlinger (Colts)
I'm sure glad that I drafted Wilson. Behind him I've got two developmental backups that I like.
RB
Alvin Kamara (Saints)
Justin Jackson (Chargers)
Damien Williams
Rashaad Penny (Seahawks)
It's a pretty deep bench with talent at the top. Rashaad Penny is probably on his last chance for me, but I retain optimism that he'll break out.
FB
Michael Burton
Since I'm only carrying two TEs I figured I should have a fullback.
WR
Terrace Marshall (Panthers)
James Washington (Steelers)
Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR (Browns)
Andy Isabella (Cardinals)
Daurice Fountain
Dazz Newsome (Bears)
My area of weakness for a while, but I'm hearing good things about Marshall. I've invested a lot in this position and need some guys to step up.
TE
Travis Kelce (Chiefs)
Blake Bell
I'm glad I drafted Kelce. We're bringing Bell back to back him up.
OT
Orlando Brown, Jr.
Morgan Moses (Redskins)
Lucas Niang, G/T (Chiefs)
An area of weakness for years is suddenly a strength.
G
Wyatt Teller (Browns)
Joe Thuney
Trey Smith (Chiefs)
Okay, my offensive line is suddenly a powerhouse.
C
Cody Whitehair (Bears )
Austin Blythe
Whitehair has moved back to G for the Bears, but I'll keep him at C to complete a strong line.
K
Harrison Butker
Best in the business.
P
Tommy Townsend
We'll give Tommy another year.
LS
James Winchester
Best in the business.
S
FS
Tyrann Matthieu
Andre Cisco (Jaguars)
Jordan Poyer (Bills)
I'm hearing good things about Cisco, so this unit looks strong.
CB
Marcus Peters (Ravens)
Bashaud Breeland
Desmond King (Chargers)
Shaun Wade (Ravens)
Amik Robertson, CB (Raiders)
Deandre Baker
I have a lot of slot corners, but overall I think this is a strong group.
OLB
Jaylon Ferguson
AJ Klein (Bills)
Zach Baun, LB (Saints)
Anthony Nelson
Cameron McGrone (patriots)
I'm relying on some young guys to step up here. I've heard good reports about Ferguson this summer.
MLB
Anthony Hitchens
Dylan Moses (Jaguars)
Moses likely won't play this year, so Hitchens is my guy.
DE
Yetur Gross-Matos, DE (Panthers)
Ifeadi Odenigbo (Vikings)
Alex Okafor
Dorance Armstrong
As with the OLBs, I'm relying on some young guys to step up this year.
DT
Brandon Williams (Ravens)
Jarran Reed
Tershawn Wharton
Star Lotulelei (Bills)
Andrew Billings (Bengals)
Maurice Hurst
Marvin Wilson (Browns)
An interesting mix of veterans and young guys.
All in all, I would say that my offense is very strong other than weakness at the WR spot. My defense is strong in the backfield and at DT, but edges and the rest of the front seven are a big question mark going into the season.
