You could try to get Watson or Rodgers but you’ll be giving up a ton of valuable resources anyway which will hurt your chances against us.
It also doesn’t matter how many people passed Fields. 9 teams passed on Mahomes. 11 on Watson. Over 20 passed on Rodgers. Russ was drafted in the 3rd rd.

What’s worse is Herbert is going to be a good one so now you’ll probably have 2 top 10 QB’s to get past in your own division.

Denver doesn't have any glaring holes on their roster outside of QB. They can afford to give up resources.
Mahomes slid because of the offense and conference he played in. Mahomes and Allen have made "toolsy" QB's more sought after than ever. There is something wrong with Justin Fields and the NFL knows it. Ryan Pace just traded the farm for him as a Hail Mary to save his job.
The shell of Tom Brady shredded you guys in the Super Bowl and Jimmy freaking Garopollo almost beat you. Heck, the Raiders give you guys fits with Derek Carr at QB. Mahomes is good, but The House That Dorsey Built is on it's last legs and Let's Reach isn't doing a good job of replenishing the roster.
