You knew Elway had no clue when he tried to market John Elway-branded tv-couches in freaking Kansas City.

I bought my FJ Cruiser from John Elway Toyota in Manhattan Beach, which was formerly Manhattan Beach Toyota. It's now gone back to Manhattan Beach Toyota. I asked some of the sales guys and they said it was pure chaos while under under the John Elway name. They kept trying to introduce all these "innovative" strategies like making all the sales guys cold call 50 people every morning that just made everyone miserable.
