Before I graduated from college I never put a thought into pooping. Once I graduated and started to realize I was a mere mortal and needed to take care of myself, I figured out that I was not pooping anywhere close enough to what I should be. If I was lucky, I’d shit 1 or 2 times a week, which I now mostly attribute to poor diet (as in, consuming literally zero fiber).
Nowadays I keep my food pretty strict during the week, pescatarian with a ton of vegetables and grains mixed in. Weekends I still eat whatever (while I can), but now I go every morning and feel infinitely better. It’s at the point where if I don’t go in the morning then that’s my alarm to get back on track.
