Well as expected, we saw massive shorting on AMC yesterday.
Volume today with a net positive gain on the stock means that shorts have officially lost money. They are still losing money on short interest fees, despite the recent drop in fee to borrow.
More buying pressure on this ticker and they'll close shop. They are making money by shorting the ticker, but by everyone holding, new investors coming in, and those who keep investing means that eventually this will pop.
I believe March 19th will be a significant day, or when people dump stimmy's into the ticker it will be game over.
Not advising anyone do anything, but a significant rise in price would shut this game in a heartbeat. Tomorrow options close either in or out of the money. If a gamma squeeze occurs from options being executed, it may be the final blow.
