Just checking ...I thought it was just the randomness of sports and there was no conceivable way that corruption could possibly play a part.

If the NFL is premeditatingly creating a strategy to limit a team's success...it is compromised.

Welcome to reality...glad to see you finally made it.
The problem I've personally always had with it is that it's just an exercise in finding a way to plug a game into a conspiracy, and you'll always be able to do that. Chiefs win, well it was obviously this one call or whatever.... Bucs win, well, it was obviously this call.

And even in this case, I seriously doubt whatever the **** we watched Sunday night was not how the NFL wanted it to play out, because I don't remember anything close to this when it comes to the volume of calls that were just completely false, and why would they start being so blatant about it now. It's a bad look for the NFL and they could do far less to steer the game in whatever direction.

The thought process in these threads makes sense though... the NFL obviously works with refs all the time, they tell them what to look for, etc.... and in theory, they would actually have to build in an effort NOT to steer games a certain way, because they could obviously accidentally do it if it's "watch these few players" and then the refs are dumbasses and don't call it both ways.

I don't think there's any "finally" about it for those reasons.... we all have our own thresholds and analysis when it comes to this kind of stuff and what's incompetence versus conspiracy and so forth and it's never, ever been this bad.
