I think he needs told exactly what to do. You can watch him mentally lock up and drool on himself every time he is required to make a decision or freelance. Run route X and read the hips to finish the route... he ****s up. Give him the option of returning or fair catching... he ****s up. Send him in to find the soft spot in the zone, he'll go stand next to a defender. I'll never forget seeing him end his route and proceed to stand on his dick while PM freelanced for his life with the rest of the receivers floating toward his scramble earlier in the season. He was the only mother****er on the whole field just standing still. Even the guy covering him was looking at him like, wtf dude.
The guy's brain just can't be trusted. Use him as a track star to pull a safety. Give him routes with absolutely no decision making. Use him as a decoy to clear LB out of a zone or run a jet sweep to the edge. Just don't let him think.
I can't figure out why Pringle is behind him on the chart.
