But Tyreek didn't practice with Mahomes in 2017. He was practicing with Alex.

Mahomes was throwing passes to Kemp and Dieter all 2017.

Now it's possible when Tyreek said that he was referring to watching practice in 2017, but I think it's more likely he was talking about 2018, when he actually started playing with Mahomes.
