If you can pick up a franchise receiver, or running back or let alone a future Franchise tackle or Defensive End at the same spot, you go with that pick every time. You can fill needs through free agency and undrafted free agency let alone use some of your lower round picks. You don’t settle for need with your top pick.

I don’t think anybody is saying that. He’s a 1st round IOL because he’s a really good prospect. Many have him inside their top 32. I can understand if somebody has him outside of that and between that and positional value won’t like him at 32, but the consensus is he’s a 1st round player.
