Who does The Beatles vs Soundgarden?

If talking....

Lonnie Johnson
Leroy Carr
Blind Blake
Bessie Smith
Ma Rainey
Blind Willie McTell

....I'm obviously talking old pre 1930 blues, so guys like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker just don't belong since they came after 1940.

If talking.....

Johnny Burnett
Carl Perkins
Ersel Hickey
Charley Feathers
Elvis
Jerry Lee Lewis
Gene Vincent

.......it's rockabilly, so....Frank Sinatra?
Interesting list and I enjoy stuff like this. Including Vanilla Fudge opens up the doors to Love and Moby Grape for me. I haven't heard much Grape personally but they seem to have influenced a lot of musicians.

Honorable mention for Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers? I love Peter Green and there was even a tribute concert a few days ago! Gilmour, Hammett, and Townshend played.
