I joked about extension being easiest of his career. Steinberg made point of getting Mahomes what he deserves while ensuring Chiefs can maintain a good roster.

That is great that his agent said that out loud. That indicates that he and the Chiefs are on the same page. The Chiefs do indeed want to take care of him, and a big part of that is paying him a shit ton of well earned money, as well as keeping a great roster around him so he can keep leading us to championships. And he and his agent get that.

Very promising indeed.
