The sad part is their fans have no ill will towards him and appreciate what he did for their franchise. Which is absolutely nothing. He won nothing and did nothing except linger for as long as he could so the Chargers wouldn't even think of drafting a QB in relevant rounds to protect his fragile ego. The ones who are most grateful are the Chiefs fans for easy wins twice a year.
The highest QB they drafted after Rivers was Charlie Whitehurst...in the 3rd round.
