Not in zone coverage.
You give Mahomes 3 seconds against a zone and you're done. Good man coverage can push plays longer because you simply run different routes against it, especially with these kinds of weapons.
But presuming you fellas stick with a 2-high safety look and some kind of cover 3 system, guys like Kelce and Watkins will be looking to settle into zones within 2-3 seconds and the ball will be halfway there by the time they settle.
You best hope Saleh's adjusted his internal clock because 3 seconds is an
eternity for Mahomes against zone looks.
