Just a reality check...in that game, Ford, Tartt and Alexander all did not play. That's 3 pro bowl quality players replaced by Marcel Harris, Sheldon Day/Valoaga, and Al-Shaair. You can dismiss it as an "excuse" or you can (more reasonably) conclude that perhaps the 49ers showing against NO is not the same defense KC will see in the SB.
