When teams are watching film of the teams they are about to play, they are looking at recent tape, and not old tape.
Recent tape is what they are doing now, hence what he’s trying to explain to you. Stats are stats, no ones denying that, but if you are also going to ignore the context that goes with the stats then it’s a lost cause for anyone to have a conversation with you.
Bottom line, teams are going to look at other teams and say ok what are they known for and what are they doing well right now and trying to do right now, you get that off recent tape, not old tape where half the players weren’t playing.
