For great food and atmosphere eat at Tequilas.
the Museum of Art was in the Rocky film and has a statue of Stallone as Rocky. IIRC, it is near the Schuylkil River (pronounced School Kill) and you can watch people rowing on the river from a thin patch of grass and trees along the side of the river (pretty sure this is the only place to see grass and trees in that wretched city).
South Street has tons of bars. Yuengling (pronounced ying ling) is brewed in Philly and it is worth trying.
Have fun and try not to get killed. Remember: people in Philadelphia are uneducated and violent and they hate you (no matter who you are).

There are great cheesesteaks, but both Pat's and Geno's are not the best ones. Try Steve's Prince of Steaks. Yuengling is brewed in Pottsville and Tampa, not in Philadelphia. The lager is OK, but Premium is better, but your probably not going to find any outside Pottsville as it has very limited distribution. Basically the rule is Philly sucks, but only locals can say so. They have a severe inferiority complex. See the historic sites downtown. Have a soft pretzel. Buy it from a street vendor. If it doesn't have a hint of exhaust fumes you bought it from the wrong place.
