You guys are too hung up on traditional "positions".
This is what I was talking about before the season.
Spags doesn't care what you want to call the position, he cares about the skillset of the player and how to best utilize it on any given play on any given Sunday.
It's why we have so many linemen that can play inside or outside. It's why Honey Badger is so valuable to him, because he can play slot, either safety, hell he was even in man on WR's outside some against Chicago. (don't remember seeing that before).
The point is you don't know what the **** we're going to do when you come up to the line.
so if Fuller can drop and play some safety, well that's just one more chess piece. But I wouldn't call him a SAFETY. More like they're all kind of defensive backs.
Your outside corners remain more or less outside corners. Everyone else could be doing any one of three or four jobs on any snap.
